I remember the New Beaver airing Monday nights @ 6:35. I also remember "Father knows best" airing around this period as well @ 6:05 temporarily. TBS would air a different scheduling of different shows during the summer which I always loved.

Hard to believe the lineup then and the lineup now. I mean The Flintstones, of all things, on in mid afternoon. I dont think the New Leave it to Beaver has been on since its TBS days. Also, dont forget pro wrestling was a staple on TBS. WCW/NWA drew great ratings on TBS and I remember seeing commericals for Andy Griffith Show, National Geographic, New Leave it to Beaver etc.

TBS used to be a great channel.I often watched it back then. They also had other good classic shows like "Car 54 Where Are You" and many more. And when they ran shows off the clock(starting them 5 minutes later) it was NOT to add extra commercials,it was because unlike nowadays there was still true competition between tv stations. In a way TBS was the original tvland, when tvland was good of course.

That's how the TBS schedule look like this during the 80s & the 90s when it didn't do daily binge blocks(2 hours or 3 hours) of any sitcom.

I miss the :05 schedules!

I have fond memories of watching "Family Matters", Saved by the Bell", and "Mama's Family" on TBS.

When you look at this schedule, it just reminds you of another channel that's gone down the tubes.

TBS isn't that bad. I mean is it like it was 30 years ago? No, but they do have Conan, Samantha Bee, MLB and The NCAA Tournament.

TBS's problem is the same as TV Land, Cartoon Network, and many others--hours and hours of reruns of the same program. Four or five hours of Big Bang Theory, same with Married With Children, Friends, on and on. With Cartoon Network, it should be Teen Titans Go Away--take away that show and there'd be nothing left.

It's a copycat formula, one does it, they all do it. I'd give Antenna TV kudos for breaking the pattern, totally.
