Previewing his latest scripted venture, "Up All Night," alongside stars Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph at the Television Critics Association press tour, executive producer Lorne Michaels had some news on another one of his series.
Vulture reports that the "30 Rock" EP has no intention of seeing his critically-adored comedy end after the upcoming sixth season, despite numbered claims by star Alec Baldwin that he'll leave the show in 2012. "No, I really can't," Michaels said when Vulture asked if he could see Season 6 being the last for the show. "I can't imagine doing the show without Alec, but I couldn't imagine doing ['Saturday Night Live'] without Chevy [Chase.]" The "SNL" creator also insisted that creator and star Tina Fey remains "completely committed" to the series despite speculation that she too might be more interested in pursuing other projects. Could "30 Rock" work without Jack Donaghy -- or would you rather see the show end its run with the original cast intact? http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethe...-michaels.html |

The show should end... Alec Badwin on the show most likley saved ot from being cancelled after 5 episodes. End it with the original cast in tact.
