Wow, the end of Saved by the Bell on TBS. Not that I watched it every day, but from Kindergarten through high school, this show was always on the air in its 7am time slot and it will be missed. I'm hoping another network acquires it... maybe Teennick will test it out if/when they expand their '90s are All That schedule? ABC Family should acquire it and place it somewhere in the morning alongside Boy Meets World!

Just because, well, we can, here's what I would do to improve the TBS Fall Schedule -

Weekdays
6:00 AM Married... with Children
6:30 AM Home Improvement (replaces Married... with Children)
7:00 AM According to Jim (replaces Home Improvement)
7:30 AM Yes, Dear (replaces Home Improvement)
8:00 AM House of Payne (replaces Saved By The Bell)
8:30 AM Meet the Browns (replaces Saved By The Bell)
9:00 AM The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (replaces Yes, Dear)

10:30 AM Saved by the Bell (replaces The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
11:00 AM Family Guy (replaces The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
11:30 AM Family Guy (replaces House of Payne)
12:00 PM American Dad! (replaces House of Payne)
12:30 PM My Name is Earl (replaces Meet the Browns)
1:00 PM The Office (replaces American Dad)
1:30 PM The Office (replaces American Dad)
2:00 PM Everybody Loves Raymond
2:30 PM Everybody Loves Raymond (replaces According to Jim)
3:00 PM Everybody Loves Raymond (replaces According to Jim)

Saved by the Bell's contract is expiring in March 2012. It will be on hiatus for now. They could still renew it at some point.

I remember watching Saved By the Bell daily on TBS the summer between 6th and 7th grade, which would have been 1993. If it leaves TBS, it'll truly be the end of an era.

I like how from 12pm-4pm you get everything TBS has to offer - but only one episode. If gives a lot of variety, and if you want to watch more of the show, they have that too.

TBS can air The Big Bang Theory any day they want, so they air it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. THURSDAYS? That doesn't make much sense to me since new episodes will be airing at 8pm, then an hour later you can go watch encores.

I'm surprised to see Saved by the Bell off the schedule and to see Lopez Tonight is still on it. I thought for sure they'd be cancelling it!

It IS shocking, and it's sad as well! I also hate that their two late night offerings have encores the second they end. They should have them on at 2-3am or 3am-4am. It would also be kind of neat to show them in the wee hours of the morning when people are getting ready for work, no? I know that I was watching Conan while getting ready for school this past year on my DVR!

I'm also surprised to see KOQ still at 6pm. I thought since SPIKE acquired it for primetime, TBS only had the rights up until 5 or 6pm.

I have been anticipating TBS' schedule more than any other because I was worried this was going to happen. They got rid of the 7AM hour and now it's totally gone... Kind of weird that if the contract won't expire until March, why don't they continue to air it? It seems like they don't have any more room on their network.

This is really, really sad. I hope this won't be the end of SBTB on TBS. There will probably be a major uproar on Twitter once people find out about this.

I remember when SBTB first started on TBS in the mornings. I used to always watch Scooby-Doo as a kid on TBS weekday mornings from 7-8AM and then in 1999 (pretty sure on that), SBTB took over its timeslot. That upset me at the time, but then I discovered SBTB and it became a staple of my morning TV watching during summer breaks or whenever I had the time. At first, it only aired from 7-8AM but then in, I think, 2003 they added a second hour from noon-1PM every weekday and also had a block from 6-8AM on Saturday mornings. Later, the noon-1PM slot shifted over to 8-9AM giving us 2 hours every weekday morning of SBTB. Now, it seems like we won't have anything...

Can anyone find out if TeenNick still owns the rights to the show? Maybe they'll start airing it again. A block with California Dreams would be amazing! TBS should extend the SBTB contract - it's been on the channel 19 years and has done well for them.

Another question: Just a few months ago, it seemed like TBS had given up on Home Improvement and now it seems settled in the 7AM hour. What's the deal with that contract and also the contract for Fresh Prince - they've been airing both for quite a while so maybe once those expire SBTB can come back? What do you guys think? It doesn't seem like the end of SBTB on TBS. Hopefully, it isn't...

Home Improvement is also on Nickaloden.
TBS needs to add Local News to it's channel because WGN America has local News and we need another National Channel maybe from KC or Orlando.

The last thing we need is another channel with news programming! WGN really feels like a broadcast/local/cable channel combo, unlike TBS.

Why would they do that? There's no WTBS anymore and hasn't been since 2007. TBS is a cable channel.

I think it was time for SBTB to go. After all, how many shows get to air that long on a cable network these days?

How long did Golden Girls air on Lifetime before they lost the rights? Had to been 15 years or so.

Saved has been on TBS for going on 20 years. I think it was even airing there while new episodes were still on NBC (I remember watching it on TBS the summer before The College Years made its debut.

I agree with cj2, though. It's probably time for Saved to go, and it can take The Fresh Prince with it. Neither of them fit the network's current "image."
