James Franco Actually Is NOT Returning to General Hospital
Sorry to get your hopes up! Even though ABC announced a very specific date for Franco's return to the soap, September 20, the actor told E!'s Ben Lyons that he has no set plans to come back at all. "I'm sad to say that that was a little bit of misinformation," said Franco. "I don't know why they announced that I would be back in September. I am currently making [Oz the Great and Powerful] in Detroit. I am the lead, I'm working every day, so I don't know when I would be able to fly back to do any episodes of General Hospital in the near future." Press in on Franco's mysterious face, reverse shot to concerned General Hospital producers, fade to commercial break.
