Thumbs down Things that people say and do that annoy you

There's this new trend in our neighborhood where after someone says something to you, they end it by calling you a fool. Where is Burnside fool, and do you have a cigarette fool? I absolutely hate this, and find it incredibly inconsiderate. What are things that people say or do that annoy you?

I hate when people say "nom nom nom" after eating something (or talking about food). I know it's a joke, but for some reason it really annoys me.

People started doing this a few years ago around here and it annoys the crap about me - when people talk in online language.

They would actually say O-M-G or L-O-L.

YES!!!!!! That drives me absolutely insane!!! Another thing I hate is when people eat while driving, and when people talk while eating, and when they make alot of noise chewing. A couple weeks ago my mom said that I was just like my brother. He was in the car with my mom as she was eating while driving, as well as talking while eating. He said to her, no offense or anything, but if you keep eating while talking, I'm going to have to walk the rest of the way home. lol I know this doesn't seem like a big deal, but honestly these are some of the things that aggitates me most in love.

Another thing that kind of annoys me, is when people tell you that they can relate when you're talking about something that they have never been through. I don't mind when it's something that they can truly relate to, it's just when they talk about something they know absolutely nothing about, it annoys the crap out of me. Naughty By Nature said it best in their song Ghetto Bastard. "So don't say jack, and please don't say you understand,
All that man-to-man talk can walk, damn, If you ain't live it, you couldn't feel it, so fill it skillet All that talk about it won't help it out, now will it."

Here's another one, when a random stranger asks you if you have a cigarette. I don't smoke, so I never have one, but I have people asking me that on a daily basis. Sometimes I'll have up to three people ask me in one day, and one time, I was actually asked three times by the same person. So annoying. The only good thing about it is that you get to meet alot of hot chicks. lol

People who tell you that they will pray for you, but don't follow through. I use to do this myself at times, but over the last five years or so, I'm actually being honest, and I do actually pray for them, and love doing it.

I hate it when people chide you for complaining about the weather. For instance, if you say you thought it was unbearably hot somewhere, and someone says "well, it's summer, what do you expect?"

That's rude as hell on two levels. One, does the fact that it's summer mean that we are supposed to EXPECT day after day of 100 degree temperatures? I don't want to get into a global warming debate here, but the weather is noticeably more extreme than when I was young. And even if it weren't, it's my business and right to say it's too hot for me, I'm just letting off some steam, so to speak.

Second, I really hate it when someone else tries to diminish someone else's concern. "Oh you're just being silly..." how arrogant! We all have our own little gripes and we should be tolerant of them. If you don't agree with my opinion, that's fine but don't act like I'm a wimp or a fool for expressing it.

I dislike when people say in the cold winter months that they wish it was summer. Then, when summer gets here they complain about the heat.

What I hate most is when someone asks you for their opinion, and then you give them an honest answer. Then when they don't like it they say "Did I ask you for your opinion?" I'm like "Yes, actually you did."
If they don't want your opinion, they shouldn't ask. Also, if they can't accept your opinion, they shouldn't act like they never asked you in the first place. Bugs me.

Also I hate it when someone says "Dude!" or "Wuz up!" all the time. For example "Did you see that dude? It was awesome!" or someone you know sees you and says "Wuz up?" I am thinking "It's what's up, and I'm not a dude." Very annoying.

I am the same way about people commenting about the heat. Like when it's really hot out and they complain about it, I do tend to agree with them but don't go into detail. I usually say, "It is hot, but I would rather it be hot, than cold. When it's hot you can cool off but when it's cold it's just cold." Then I try to change the subject or drop it but the other person will just go on and on about it till I about want to kill them.

See, I always say the opposite. That is, when it's cold you can always put on more and more layers until you are finally warm, but when it's hot you can only go so far. And even if you are totally unclothed, you will still be hot!

Drives me crazy too. I'm not a text message. Also dislike when people end their statements with "It is what it is"
