JamesG Freakshow Moderator Forum Icon Join Date: Feb 01, 2008 Location: Brooklyn, NY Posts: 57,083	"Scanners" TV-Series Announced at Comic-Con *"Scanners" TV Series to Blow Your Mind* Source: Deadline July 22, 2011 Dimension Films is eschewing a big screen remake of David Cronenberg's Scanners in favor of a television series based on the property. Deadline reports it is working with Alex Aja (High Tension) to executive produce the show, and he may also direct the pilot. "Scanners" is something Dimension has been kicking around for a while now, developing a remake with the likes of David Goyer and Darren Lynn Bousman.
