I was. I remember in 8th grade, we had to learn the preamble to the constitution. I already knew it because of Schoolhouse Rock. I just let that song go in my head and the rest was a piece of cake.

It was shown in the 90's again and I saw this many times.

You can see the guy who did the singing for these on a late episode of Petticoat Junction. As a guest at the Shady Rest Hotel, he sings and plays the piano with Bobbie Jo (Lori Saunders) at his side. If anyone is interested I can look up the specifics.

I recently saw that episode on Me-TV!

Jack Sheldon is the guy I referred to. Here's his IMDb profile, with his PJ episodes listed (1969 and '70):

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0791026/

I just can't remember which of these featured his music prominently, but I'm sure Marvo301 can clarify...!

Me-TV went through to the end of the Petticoat Junction run recently (Season 7). After showing a few Season 1 episodes, they have moved on to Season 3. Jack was in S6 and S7.

I didn't realize that he was Merv Griffin's sidekick...! And he even appeared once on Gilligan's Island!!

I notice too that he did a couple of eps of Mike Hammer (the late '90s series with Shannon Whirry). I have that on DVD and hope to get around to watching the run.

He was also a regular on Sally Field's short-lived NBC sitcom, The Girl with Something Extra. In her third series, Sally played a bride with E.S.P. Jack played either a friend or a neighbor, and John Davidson was Sally's husband.

Jack Sheldon sang two of the best known Schoolhouse Rock songs. "Conjunction Junction" and "I'm Just a Bill." Schoolhouse Rock brings back memories of Saturday and Sunday mornings in the 70s and 80s.

I have the DVD of Schoolhouse Rock. I loved those when I was a kid. My favorites are "Conjunction Junction", "My Hero, Zero", and "I'm Just a Bill".
