as always I am interested - is there any way we could make the game a more casual system?

it might generate more interest if it wasn't such a time investment and people could just drop-in and play a round?

What about having trivia post for several days, maybe a week or so.
The answer will not be revealed until the end of the round. Other people could answer the same from other posts, but whoever answers first gets the most points.

For example,

First one with the correct answer: 100 points
Second one with the correct answer: 90 points
etc.

Do you think that would work???

How about if we PM you the answers by a certain date, and everyone that answers a particular question correctly gets the same amount of points? That way, everyone that wants to play can and wouldn't have to worry about being the first one to answer (and will have to come up with the answers themselves). You could even make certain questions worth more than others based on level of difficulty (can't remember if you did this before).

i like the PM system idea - that way anyone can make a guess and get points within a certain time period (say 48 hours or something)

then reveal the correct answers for each round

- one of the downsides to the earlier games is that you HAD to be there when the questions were revealed or you were screwed
