I'm Matthew Braswell from Hickory, North Carolina. Although my favorite show is The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers is my second favorite. I also like All in the Family, Seinfeld, and The Love Boat. My favorite Cheers character is Frasier. I'm fifteen and in the tenth grade. I like watching professional sports and shooting baskets, I have two younger sisters, and my career goal is to become the governor of Massachusetts.

Oh, oh... where to begin! I love talking about myself <--- that's a good start!

My name's Bethany, I'm 17 years old and I'm from the Boston area (apparently I have a Bostonian/New York accent... if anyone cares). My friends call me B or Bethy.

Lets see, career goals -- Broadway is my ultimate goal. I will be either a musical theatre or voice major next year. I'll either be at Juilliard as a voice major, with a minor in theatre, and I'm still applying to Emerson and Boston Conservatory as a musical theatre major *crosses fingers*. I really hope to go to Boston Conservatory.

My dreams: To one day sing on the Tony awards, to WIN a Tony award, to play Daisy Hilton in a revival of Side Show on Broadway, and to convert the world to Bethyism... ooo... wait, wrong message board!

I think I pretty much covered everything... basically musical theatre IS my life.

If my career on Broadway falls through, I was considering becoming a singing psychiatrist, what do you think? I could turn sessions into little musicals of their own. It would be very therapeutic, I think.

Here's a picture of me taken on my friends web camera. My eyes are actually blue (why they look brown is beyond me) and my hair is usually blonde.. only I recently died it reddish brown... needed a change. LOL

Sam: I cannot BELIEVE you made that gesture to the other driver!

Lilith: Why not? I see other drivers make that gesture to Frasier all the time.

Sam: Yeah, well, other drivers don't drive an eighteen wheeler with a bumper sticker that says "Insured by Smith and Wesson" on it!

Lilith: He cut me off!

Sam: That happens! It doesn't mean you gun it up to eighty, run him off the road, and start sticking your finger into the flaps in his neck!

Lilith: I wasn't afraid! I thought you could handle him!

Sam: Yeah, I tried, didn't I?

Lilith: Oh, yes, that vicious headbutt to his fist sent him reeling.

Cool all about moo

My name is moo. No really it is...I'm like "Prince" ya know? Changed my name to something stupid? Ok, so I'm a pathological liar. Ok, I lied...I just like to be funny...for kicks. M. Gracie...and no the M doesn't stand for moo...but it should.

I live in New York City, but moved here almost 3 years ago from California. I moved for Broadway. I'm only a double threat, but after dance classes (when my surgery makes me walk again) I'll be a triple threat, and I already have connections in the theatre world to work on stage when I can walk again. Yay me. *sarcasm there (seeing as I havent walked in a year now)*

My favorite tv shows are Golden Girls, Cheers, Frasier, Whose Line is it Anyway, and Quantum Leap...though I watch other shows as well. And I love cartoons.

My favorite Cheers character is Carla, and my least favorite is Woody *hides* cuz his stupidity gets old after a while...but I agree, you need them all to make "Cheers."

My favorite actor of all time is Hans Conried and if you don't know who he is, you can visit my website devoted to him. http://www.hansconried.com/ and my page there "my 2˘" has the most recent pic of me, even if it is a year old.

Anything else can be asked!

**moo, Gracie moo...shaken, not stirred**

Man, I'm just like everyone here! I want to be in showbiz as well (actor) having lived 45 minutes south of Hollywood all my life. Taken a couple classes, found a manager, but $$$ has slowed me up. I love writing (like a lot of you) and if I didn't make it as an actor, I would love to at least be the next John Hughes. I fell in love with tv and movies at 10 when I was given my own cable box in my room. Endless hours of The Movie Channel, Showtime and HBO (oh, and pay-per-view) made me want to be a part of entertainment. Plus, growing up on the best sitcoms ever in the 80s. My faves are Cheers, Wings, Family Ties, Night Court, Growing Pains, Threes Company and even Mr. Belvedere.

Fave character is probly Sammy. Least is Carla (great lines, but no one hardly stands up to her).

Good luck to you (us) all in making it!

Moo.. hope you can walk again soon! I'm a triple threat... I've studied dance since I was 2 (well, how much can you really *study* at the age of 2?!), studied voice since I was 10, and I've just been acting my whole life, LOL. Very cool that you're into musical theatre... email me at HyperDivaGurlie@aol.com!

McFly... do you frequent the theatre chat room at AOL by any chance...?

I've done many a show over the years!

Let's see... I was Guenevere (Camelot), Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Catherine (Pippin), Iolanthe (Iolanthe), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Gianetta (The Gondoliers), and Eliza (My Fair Lady). I've also done straight plays... Scenes and Revelations (Charlotte), Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Taming of the Shrew (Katharine), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia), etc.

It's great so many people on this board are into theatre!

Cool you all and your A-O-hell :p

There's never a decent place to discuss theatre online anymore. I don't have AOL, I have AIM and a cable modem. Woo hoo for cable modems!

There used to be "On Broadway" on yahoo, but don't bother going there, it went to hell in a handbasket ages ago. I was one of the founding mother/fathers of the room, and it lost its reason for existing when we got really rude people, and it became childish. You can't even have an opinion of your own there without being criticized.

Oh, man, moo, Yahoo is the scuz-pit of the chat world. Everyone is so angry and racist, constantly fighting or looking for sex (that part I can understand, hehe) but mostly it's a collection of critical loudmouths who are hiding behind a computer, knowing they can say what they want and not suffer any kind of physical consequence. The fight rooms are good for a laugh sometimes, but you try and go into a normal one for some conversation and you've got some dumb booter or mic hog or verbal war going on. A great idea (voicechat) that got really tarnished by the wrong kind of people.
