Danielle Harris Gets In The Director's Chair For 'Among Friends'
Genre favorite Danielle Harris is getting behind the camera for her first directing gig, Among Friends. The screenplay was penned by Alyssa Lobit, who also wrote and played the lead character in the award winning film The Things We Carry. There's no official synopsis yet but with a tagline like "This dinner party's gonna be killer," I'm praying that it's a cross between Clue and Murder Party - the more it's like the former, the better.
Chris Backus, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, AJ Bowen, Brianne Davis, Dana Daurey, Danielle Harris, Kamala Jones, Alyssa Lobit, Chris Meyer and Tanya Newbould have all signed on to star in the picture. The project is financed by production companies Three Little Birds and Hollywood Treasures Inc. Jay Lobit and Bill Allison are executive producers for Among Friends.
