I remember there was an episode of Family Ties when Alex had graduated from college (the ep where he broke up with Lauren). Alex had asked Mallory what the meaning of life was and I can't remember what her answer was. Can anyone help me out? Thanks so much

I think it was something like: Be happy, don't hurt other people and hope that you'll fall in Love. I'm not sure, though.

The exact quote was:
"Be happy, try not to hurt other people and hope you'll fall in love" When used during Alex's monologue at the end of the episode (They Can't Take That Away From Me - Part 2), Alex used the quote in the form: "The meaning of life is to be happy, try not to hurt other people and hope that you'll fall in love" /Daniel Hofverberg Webmaster, Family Ties Home Page http://www.familyties.f2s.com |
