NYC "Wall $treet Wives" Reality Show in the Works
"Wall $treet Wives" Reality Show in the Works
by Chris Harnick posted Jul 15th 2011 Ready for another show about affluent New York women? A new series, "Wall $treet Wives", yes, spelled with a money sign, is currently casting. According to the New York Times, the new reality show -- which has yet to find a network home -- will feature four or five women who have "a fun and attractive personality," and are either married to or divorced from men with "investments oriented" Wall Street jobs. The show comes from Devon Fleming, an author and lifestyle expert, and co-producer Sammi Mendenhall. The show was first pitched in 2007 with Fleming as the central character. She's married to a Deutsche Bank wealth manager. Mendenhall is no stranger to casting reality shows, having worked on History's "Food Tech" and MTV's "16 and Pregnant". She told the NY Times that "Wall $treet Wives" is a 'tough casting,' since financiers aren't exactly clamoring to put their families in the spotlight. http://www.aoltv.com/2011/07/15/wall...-reality-show/ |
