Good-bye Michael - missing - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I felt like something was missing from the Good-bye Michael episode. I would have liked to have seen them find a letter from Michael after he had gone explaining to the staff that he left yesterday because he couldn't bare saying good-bye to them rather than leaving them hanging around with the decorations and his good-bye cake.

Anyone agree?

When Michael was leaving, he checked off everyone but two names. Pam met him at the airport, but who was Hank that was still on his list???

I know I'm a few months late for this question but I just read it and have the answer!

Hank is that security guard who's always in the lobby of the building. In the deleted scenes, Michael has his goodbye with him.
