Rizzoli & Isles star Angie Harmon has criticized NBC's decision to axe Law & Order.
The long-running crime drama was canceled after 20 seasons, with the final episode 'Rubber Room' airing on May 24 last year. Harmon, who played Abbie Carmichael on the show from 1998 to 2001, told the New York Post that she was "upset" by the move. "I certainly do not believe the show had run its course," she argued. "They should have canceled one of those ridiculous reality shows instead of Law & Order." Spinoff series Law & Order: LA was also axed this year after just one season, while Law & Order: Criminal Intent concluded last month after ten years. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is currently the franchise's only active series. Christopher Meloni (Elliot Stabler) recently announced that he will not return for the show's 12th run, while Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish have joined the cast as new lead detectives. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/news/a3...order-axe.html |

I totally agree. With L&O that close to breaking the record for longest running series to axe it to start L&O LA which they also axed is just stupid. It was one of the few things NBC had going for it.
