Believe it or not, Sly made his screen debut beating up Woody Allen and a little old lady in the 1971 comedy Bananas. In his first film, his part was a small one--that of a hoodlum attacking an elderly woman on a New York City subway train.

Well I thought it was The Italian Stallion (originally known as The Party at Kitty and Stud's).

Sorry but you are wrong here.

Sly's first ever acting role was the lead in the soft-core porno The Party at Kitty and Stud's (later re-named The Italian Stallion on home-release) in 1970.

After that he was an uncredited extra in Lovers and Other Strangers (1970) and the lead in No Place to Hide (1970) before doing 1971's Bananas.
