Smith to Cook Up Romance With Serena?* Jul 12, 2011 by Hanh Nguyen "Stargate Universe's" Brian J. Smith was last seen on a ship in deep space, but apparently he made it back to Earth after all. The actor will join the cast of "Gossip Girl" as a chef named Max, TVLine reports. In the Sept. 26 premiere, viewers will be introduced to Max in Los Angeles, where Serena (Blake Lively) was visiting over the summer. Is it possible some summer lovin' is on the menu?
