Cetera is my all time favorite non-Christian singer. He has had so many beautiful songs, and I have everyone of his cd's. He's arguably had just as much success as a solo artist as he had with Chicago. Here's a couple interesting Cetera facts. He was wanted to sing the theme song, "Everything I do I Do It For You" for the movie Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, but he turned it down, and so they chose Bryan Adams instead. Also, Glory of Love was originally written for Rocky 4, but for some reason they couldn't get the rights to the song, so it went to The Karate Kid part 2 instead.

In addition to "Glory of Love," I also remember liking the song "The Next Time I Fall," which was a duet he did with Amy Grant.

He's a terrific singer, I like all the songs mentioned above plus "Stay The Night" that he sang lead on with Chicago.

I like alot of the stuff Peter Cetera did with Chicago but my favorite solo song is the one he sang with Cher- After All, that is my all time favorite Peter Cetera song.

A little-known fact is that Peter Cetera wrote and sang harmony vocals on a song on Karen Carpenter's long shelved solo album from 1979-80. The name of the song is "Making Love in the Afternoon" and finally saw release in 1996.

Here's "Stay the Night":
My personal favorite Chicago song from the 80s - Peter Cetera shares the lead vocals with then-new band member, Bill Champlin: My favorite Chicago song from the 70s: |

The original Baywatch theme "Save Me"
In my not so humble opinion, this is way better than the theme song from seasons 2 and up that we're used to hearing. |

Cetera looks creepy as hell in the "Stay the Night" video. My personal fav is Chicago's "Feelin' Stronger Everyday" with Pete on lead vocals and bass.

I think Peter is one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time. He's also an underrated bass player. Peter's best work was with Chicago but he has had some nice solo songs, especially "Glory of Love".
