Drew Peterson Is Trying To Stop the Production of Lifetime Movie "Untouchable"
Photo: Rob Lowe Adds on 10 Years to Play Drew Peterson
Jul 9, 2011 by Rich Juzwiak The first look at Rob Lowe as accused wife-killer Drew Peterson has hit the Net. The 47-year-old actor will play the 57-year-old former Illinois police sergeant in the upcoming Lifetime movie Untouchable. The transformation requires nine hours in the makeup chair every day, according to People.com. Untouchable is now filming. Peterson's third wife Kathleen was found drowned in a bathtub, and although her death was initially ruled as accidental, Stacy's suspicious disappearance later prompted authorities to exhume Kathleen's body. After another forensic examination revealed signs of struggle before drowning, the cause of death was revised to homicide. Peterson is currently in Will County Jail in Ill., awaiting trial. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Rob-Lowe...n-1035123.aspx |

Lowe's New Peterson Movie In Jeopardy
15 July 2011 Actor Rob Lowe's forthcoming movie portrayal of accused killer Drew Peterson has been thrown into jeopardy - the suspect has launched legal proceedings to halt production on the project. The former police sergeant is currently awaiting trial after pleading not guilty to the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, whose death had initially been ruled an accidental drowning. He is also suspected of killing his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, who disappeared in 2007. Lowe recently began working on the TV movie for America's Lifetime network, titled Untouchable, but the ex-cop is not amused. Peterson's lawyers recently sent a cease and desist order to studio bosses demanding they shut down production. According to CNN.com, the letter claims the book which the movie is based on, Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson, is a "biased and malicious portrayal, far from a 'non-fiction,' 'true story,'" like the show description implies. -IMDB News |
