The only websites I regularly visit are S.O, Facebook. Youtube, Hulu, and ESPN.com. I gave up myspace, but other than that, I haven't given any of them up.

Why is Myspace still in existence?

I'd say you've just about given up this site too. You're not a regular anymore.

I'm here on S.O. to stay. I'll be posting on this site forever, and will never leave again. This place is like home to me, and even though it's much slower then it use to be, I can say with certainty that I'm here for the long haul. The only way I'll stop posting here is if my computer breaks down, or if the site is discontinued.

Well, you guys are two of my favorite people in all of cyberspace, so I'm glad you're here. If you ever leave, just promise me you'll say good-bye.

Question

Why would anyone stop visiting certain websites just because of youtube and facebook? I doubt I can sell my wares on those 2 sites.

I was unaware of it. I had to think for a minute and realize that I had not went to ebay in 2 years. And it has a lot to do with the poularity of Youtube and Facebook.

Youtube brings a lot of people to facebook to discuss certain videos

I only go to about 5 or 6 sites regularly. I can't say that I've left any sites for Youtube.

I like Youtube. I've found some very rare shows over there that I hadn't seen since I was a kid. It sure brings back alot of memories. lol

Awww, you are so sweet Janice. This is why I'm never going to leave this site again, because of all the awesome people like you! Most of the people here are so incredibly genuine, and just overall good people. I'd say that about 95% of my online friends come from S.O., and I want them in my life FOREVER!! Thanks Janice for reminding me of what I love so much about this place!
