I saw this episode on me-tv the other day. It's a color episode. I think its before they moved to California, but I could be wrong. Chip has a crush on a girl, but she has a crush on Robbie. Chip telephones her, and invites her out on a date, but she thinks its Robbie so she accepts. When Chip arrives at her doorstep, she says, "Who are You?"
What is the title of this episode? Any other additional information like episode number and season would be appreciated. I searched the episode guides, but I can't find it. |

That's a Season 6 episode (7th ep of the season, Nov. 4. 1965), "Mary-Lou." The first color season and still in Bryant Park:
http://www.tv.com/my-three-sons/mary..._guide;summary Morgan Brittany appears in a supporting role (not Mary Lou). TV.com is probably the best source of M3S info, as expert Geoff has provided his extensive indexing there. Surprising tidbit: "Once again, documentation in the Don Fedderson Productions script archives at UCLA indicates that this episode (Production # 5272-0194) was in fact the very first episode filmed in Color." I would have thought for sure that the tail end of Mike's wedding was the first color filming...! |

Thanks for your help!
The description at tv.com is better than some of the other guides. Now, I'll have to watch it again to look for Morgan Brittany. I'm seeing many of these episodes for the first time thanks to me-tv. |

You're welcome. I envy you having the chance to see these episodes 'fresh.' I've watched all of the Seasons 6-10 eps so many times since childhood -- although now as an adult I have a greater appreciation for the guests (especially Vera Miles, Brenda Benet, Leslie Parrish, Yvonne Craig, Pam Austin, Susan Oliver, Sherry Jackson, Susan Silo, Joanna Cook Moore, and many others...!).
Morgan appears again in a later episode, if I'm remembering right -- although I think her most memorable appearance around those years was with Ron Howard on The Andy Griffith Show. |
