I am trying to find an episode where Ted is dictating a book into a tape recorder. It was like every conversation that he had or went on around him he would dictate it. I think it's in a later season.

I believe that's from "Mary the Writer." But I could be wrong. It's from S7.

You're welcome. I was pretty sure that was it, b/c I remembered him leaving when Mary came by w/ the baby gift, so he could write down their conversation, LOL.
