that's the good news; the bad news is that she's in New York & I'm in pennsylvania.
Also, she's 20 years younger than me, but I don't care about that. But at least I know what she looks like-and she's PRETTY. |

That's cool Treky. A couple of my ex girlfriends I met online too. Fortunately for me, they all lived in Oregon. Hopefully she'll be willing to fly to your neck of the woods, or for you to go visit her. I really hope things work out for you.

Over the years I have met with no less than 10 different women from all over the country that I initally met online (chatrooms, forums, etc.) They all were extrememly attractive (or I probably would not have shown up to meet them in person) but after the first few months of dating, the inital excitement died out slowly. We found ourselves searching for new people to meet and be with, so I wouldn't reccommend online dating as a way to develope a lasting relationship. It's more for those adults who like to fool around for 3 - 8 months before it's time to search for a new challenge.

Fantastic. Three people I know, a relative, a friend from military days, and a co-worker's son: all met someone online, and all three have ended up in lasting, committed relationships. Also, Pennsyvania and New York? C'mon, that's not that far. Couldn't be any farther than, like San Diego and Sacramento, and they're in the same state! I wish you well!

Honestly, I don't really give a damn about what most people do. I'm not most people, I'm me. And I don't try to live my life trying to impress most people. I'm at the best place in my life right now then Iv'e been in years. Ain't no way I'm going to jeopardize that. |

Congratulations Treky and I wish you all the best. And it does sound like you're getting off to a nice running start. Keep us posted.
