Default Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog/Joy to the World

This was sung on some special featuring the Brady Bunch around 1974. I don't believe it was an episode of the series and am sure it was before the variety show premiered. Bobby/Mike soloed and the others backed him up on "Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog/Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night.

Can anyone tell me which show this was and whether it's available anywhere? Also was the song ever released on a record, if so which one, and might the record ever be released on a CD? Or might there be a CD of all the Brady Bunch kids' solos and might this be included? Thanks.

It was sung on an ABC special once, in 1970 (not 74) that starred the Brady kids and ran in the time-slot for the show; Friday nights at 8, and was used to promote the ABC saturday morning lineup for that season. I'm sure you can find clips from it on you tube.
As for your other questions, I don't know.

Alas, I can't find a clip of that on You Tube, or the other scene I asked about. I wonder if they sang it more than once. I had such a clear memory of its being around the time of the Hawaii trip if not later--after they took to singing as a regular thing.

Interesting. That song never hit the charts until 1971.

This song was released in 1970 on Three Dog Night's Naturally album. I got this from their official Website.

Seven years later and still no trace of this.

What I remember of the scene was it was outdoors and they were on a large set of steps. Again this makes it not the Variety Show as I believe all those were indoors, as were all the songs on the series. Anyone know where this could have been filmed? Thanks.

Hugo Montenegro recorded an excellent version of this song. Click here and you're sure to have a smile:
