Rhoda part of Gay Pride Sale? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I noticed that there were a number of DVD sets at Shout Factory that were part of a Gay Pride sale? I do not get the connection at all? I was was waiting for Rhoda season 4 to come down a bit in price, but it still is showing at 29.99? Does anyone know what the sale is about or what the discount is? (if any)

Shows with strong female leads tend to have a fairly large following of gay men for reasons I'm not 100% sure of. The Golden Girls is prime example.

It's stereotypical to assume that any male who is a big fan of shows with strong female leads is automatically a homosexual.
