The weather monster

Lately, It seems like every other night we have storm coverage on tv.
I watch it like a sporting event. They show that radar map indicating
whats coming and how severe. It looks like a green monster, if its
just green, thats not too bad, just rain. But if that green monster
is covered with red blood, that means severe, maybe bringing twisters.
The other night we had one that was almost all red,with a few purple
spots on it, not sure what those were. It was huge and moving fast.
It was like I was watching a football game; " come on,stay north,stay north,stay north, damn, its turning this way "
" You bastard, why do you keep picking on me ? " Then the weatherman
says that it has multiple rotation and gave the estimated time of
arrival for the impacted areas. he said this was an extremely dangerous
storm and we should take shelter immediately. I dashed outside to
tie my trash cans to the fence,I didnt care about the lawn chairs, they
were cheap and broken. I figured the neighbors would find those in their yards. I went back in the house and decided to take care of my loved
ones, so I carried my bowl of pizza rolls down to the basement. No sense
dying on an empty stomach.
