Default City of Potsie

City of Potsie
After sneaking into his best friend Richie Cunningham's laboratory and finding Richie's secret jet, Warren 'Potsie' Weber accidentally blasts himself out of the city of Milwaukee and crashes in the city of London. Soon after the crash, Potsie wants to go home but his jet was smashed when he flew into a house belonging to a scientist named Professor Dorkus (whose name is ridiculed by Potsie). Professor Dorkus (who is one of the chief advisors to the mayoress) is furious that Potsie destroyed his home and intends to destroy him. Unfortunately, Mayoress Sarah Tyler takes a liking to Potsie and thwarts his plans at every turn. Much of the show is centered around Potsie annoying Professor Dorkus with his antics and wild destruction and Professor Dorkus trying (and failing) to get back at him for it. While in London, Potsie makes many new acquaintances, some of which include Hymie (an intelligent young Jewish man from Manchester), Mayoress Tyler who firmly believes Potsie is a supernatural man that will bring joy to London), Jake (the local diner owner from Sunderland), Jimmy (a Cockney hellraiser simular to Fonzie) and Lady Estella Edelsen who becomes Potsie's crush. Lady Estella has a pet poodle named Chock Chock.

With the help of his new friends, Potsie must fix his jet, work for the mayoress and annoy Professor Dorkus as much as he can so he can get back home to Milwaukee.

Cast:
Anson Williams as Warren 'Potsie' Weber
Alun Armstrong as Hymie Bergman
James Bolam as Jack Hanwell
Dennis Waterman as Jimmy Simpson
Joanna Lulmey as Lady Estella Edelsen
Geoffrey Palmer as Professor Dorkus
Amanda Redman as Sharon Tyler
Sheila Hancock as Mayoress Sarah Tyler

Episodes:

Ep1: Pilot:
Potsie accidentally crashes in the City of London. The mayoress mistakes him for a genius and appoints him for a Super High Mayorae Advisor. A jealous Professor Dorkus (Mayoress Tyler's former lover and old supreme advisor) vows to destroy him.Professor Dorkus has the mayor's guards take Potsie to the Palace of Pain. While he's there, he has a daydream of him laying on a bed in a house (Possibly Bree Van Der Kamp's house from the series Desperate Housewives long before the later show aired). Then, Professor Dorkus wakes him up and Potsie fights a giant of a man. He throws a blueberry in the man's mouth and he has an allergic reaction to it. He falls down and the mayoress claims him free. Potsie gets into his jet but it explodes and Potsie falls into Professor Dorkus's arms. Dorkus get's angry by this and tries his first attempt to destroy Potsie. Professor Dorkus brings Potsie into The Valley of Unpleasant Holes (Essex). He leaves him there with a French (vicious in Potsie's case) poodle but later, a blonde woman named Lady Estella saves him from it. Potsie befriends a Jewish would-be scientist called Hymie, the local diner owner Jake and tough guy Jimmy who agree to help Potsie as long as he can get back to Milwaukee in his jet but there's one problem - the jet is broken!

Ep2: Harder Than It Looks:
Potsie, Jimmy, Jake and Hymie form a vigilante team and are hired by Mayoress Tyler to rescue Sharon who has been kidnapped by a group of IRA terrorists who are now demanding a large ransom. Jake assures the team that the job will be "a piece of cake" but things turn out harder than they look when they find that the girl is reluctant to be saved because her ex-boyfriend (Robbie Coltrane) is one of the kidnappers and her mother only wants her saved to also help save London.

Ep3: Sugar and Spice:
Potsie and Mayoress Tyler visits Sarah's public school for speech day. Potsie is approached by one of the girls (Phyllis Logan) to sell some erotic art sketches which he quickly deduces have been stolen from the school. When he tries to report the theft to the headmistress (June Whitfield), she angrily denies that the sketches belonged to the school.

Ep4: I Am Not the Fine Man You Take Me For:
The candidates for mayor deliver their campaign speeches. As Potsie refuses to genuflect, Jimmy gives him a personal demonstration of his influence and power. Doc Cochran (Rodney Bewes) tends to an ailing Sarah as her mother's fears grow. Lady Estella shares her exploits with the schoolchildren at Hymie's behest. Johnny has an uncomfortable reunion with his ex-wife Teresa (Susan Jameson).

Interesting storyline you have. Is there more to this? I've never thought of anyone in the Happy Days cast going to England. I like to write about them living in the 2000's as they are today. If you're interested, you can check mine out.

Here's a thought for you. Have you thought about posting this story to fanfiction.net? That's where I post my stories in the Happy Days section. Sadly I don't get many to 0 comments there. I try to search other sites where people would let me know what they think even if some of my stories are 10 - 15 years old. Just about every site I've joined recently I do get trouble getting comments from other Happy Days fans. If you do or don't have a fanfiction account you can follow me there under the same name. I took some of my down to make them look better. I have an account on its sister site and thinking of doing a story from that site and turning it into a Happy Days story, like this Christmas one I posted here. Let me know what you think of my idea of posting this story to fanfiction. I go there a lot.
