"The Rivals" - what was the music used in that episode? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It's so obvious from 0:09 onwards that the music that was played in the original episode was covered up/replaced by something sounding more modern (and a bit of the original song can be heard faintly in the background when the actors speak).
The replacement doesn't sound at all as something from 1979!It's probably some legal matter that prevented the original song to be used for the DVD release.
Does anyone know what the song was originally? Could it be a Prince song? I read somewhere that one of his songs was used in an episode, but I never found it.(I can hear a falsetto voice very fast at 0:38).

I think the song was "I Want To Be Your Lover" by Prince. When they reaired the episode on BET a few years ago, they kept the song intact.
