I just saw the Nancy Manni case today on Spike and it mentioned another murder that occured in 1988. There was speculation that Nancy and Elizabeth Greenberg were murdered by the same person because there were many similarities and their characteristics, their jobs, and their deaths as well. They didn't mention her case in the update, and I'm curious if the case was ever solved.

I found this link from 2012 about the Greenberg murder (as well as another possible murder connected). I just realized how much UM exaggerated a possible connection between Nancy Manni and Elizabeth Greenberg. Nancy Manni lived and was last seen on Solomon's Island (she lived in nearby Lusby), and Elizabeth Greenberg was last seen in Annapolis (where she also lived). It's probably a good hour and a half drive.
I also found this lengthy article about Nancy's murder and how they ultimately cracked the case. In typical UM fashion, they played up the possible 2 boyfriends as suspects angle, as well as Nancy being murdered by the Seafarer's Union to silence her. They totally left out the fact that witnesses last placed Nancy Manni at a popular bar on Solomon's Island before leaving to go on a boat with him. The case could've been solved sooner had they provided this information. I also found it interesting that the man who was convicted of her murder, John O'Meara entered an Alford Plea and only served ten years in prison. He claims that he was so wasted that she fell out of the boat and he accidentally ran her over when trying to save her. |

I just found this today and didn't know if anyone had seen it yet. Looks like Billy took quite a turn from "Nancy was the love of my life" over the past twenty-odd years. |
