Default What character bugged the hell out of you?

I could talk forever but I want to make this quick as Im getting very tired but what character annoyed the hell out of you. I could say Donna Martin and her goody two shoes attitude all the time. I could say Lucy Ricardo and her never ending annoyance. She complains she has no clothes or hats, yet she has closets full of them. She complains about not going anywhere or something to that effect. She went to France, Maine, Switzerland, California. She also bought every sovenier when she was in Cal., yet she had to get John Waynes footprints. She pushed her way into movies when she should have been grateful that she even got a vacation to Cal.

Ok, with that mini-rant over, sorry about that btw, there is a character even more annoying and aggravating then the 2 I mentioned above. That would be, Wayne Arnold. This guy should have gotten his ass whipped everyday in every episode. He annoyed Kevin constantly. Kevin or his dad, or somebody should have just kicked his ass. He was just so annoying. What do you guys think? What character annoyed you the most?

Skippy on Family Ties (His obsession with Mallory was disturbing.)
Monica on Friends (Get help for that damn OCD, already!)
Fred on I Love Lucy. (How Ethel could be married to such a crochety old coot, is beyond me!)
The baby sister on Growing Pains...Chrissy? - (Uggh. I stopped watching at that point.)
Mr. Furley on Three's Company. (First of all, Don Knott's playing an obnoxious landlord trying to be a hipster just made me uncomfortable. )

I'll think of more later.

Bob "Bulldog" Briscoe from Frasier - Just obnoxious and added nothing to the show in my opinion.
Charlie Harper from Two and a Half Men - I suspect I will enjoy this show much more now that Charlie Sheen's insufferable character will be gone. He had no redeming qualities whatsoever.
Don from 3rd Rock From the Sun - Again, added nothing to the show. His relationship with Sally was more of an annoying detriment to the storylines than anything else.

I know there are more but these are the three that immediately came to mind.

I couldn't stand him at first either but then he grew on me and now he's one of my favorite characters!
The one character I cannot stand-and probably never will is Mel from Frasier. She was just cruel and heartless toward Niles-who tried his best to please her. True, he told her he was in love with another woman, but even Frasier didn't like her when he first met her.

Well, Andrea, I know you will be completely shocked to know I agree w/ you 100% about Mel! She was just mean and vindictive. Although I did love seeing Niles finally stand up to her! I know if I'd been in the studio audience for that ep, I'd have been clapping like crazy!

Meathead oh how I wished Archie would've just clobbered him
Hawkeye Peirce too bad the North Koreans or the Chinese didn't waste him
Marcy D'Arcy after all those years of her foiling their plans you'd figure that Al and Jefferson would have arrainged for her demise or Steve for that matter
Fonzie something about an adult male who hangs around with teenage boys and hits on teenage girls that kinda makes ones skin crawl
Joy Turner how both Earl and Crabman put up with her is amazing

On the old "Jump the Shark" website, Ricky the neighbor was a category all it's own.

More characters that bugged the hell out of me:

Wally Plumstead on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. He was such a moocher - always showing up at dinnertime at the Nelson's house. Then, he was always trying to pull a fast one on Ricky or David @ any given time. Plus, he would never spend any money on his girlfriend, Ginger.

Irene on Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place - she was Berg's stalker and then he ends up falling for her? Seriously? I couldn't stand her. She was freakishly short and sneaky on top of it.

Noel on Frasier. Speaking of stalkers.....he made my skin crawl just because he actually thought he had a chance with Roz!

Aunt Bea on The Andy Griffith Show. *runs and hides* I know! Poor, sweet lil' ol' Aunt Bea. How could she possibly bug the hell out of anybody? She was so "helpless" with her constant high pitched whine. She seemed to always play the victim with Andy. She'd pull that with Opey every now and then too. Nothing against the actress of course, but that character was annoying!

Mrs. Beasley on Family Affair. That doll was creepy.

Eric Mardian from Head of the Class is easily at the top of this list for me. It's a shame that somebody as obnoxious as him got to be a main character for the show's entire run, because he tortured the very beautiful, very talented, and very pretty Simone Foster all throughout the five years HOTC was on (which is why the episodes Ode To Simone, The Write Stuff, & First Date are in my top 5 least favorite HOTC eps.).

Oh, and I'm sure a lot of you know how I feel about the sweet actress who played Simone Foster, so I don't need to explain that part.

(I'll restrict this to sitcoms, just for clarity and brevity).

Almost everyone on Cheers. Sorry, but that was a group of really shallow and hard hearted people; the only ones that had any real heart were Woody and Kelly and Coach and they were all...cerebrally challenged, lol.

Lenny and Squiggy on L and S. Just never warmed to them, both really creeped me out.

Urkel...absolutely could not watch this character, it was that bad.

Frederick Crane. He was horrible to his dad, just an obnoxious repulsive brat.

Detective Dorsey on Barney Miller - I think he only lasted three episodes but it was obvious they thought about making him a regular. Paranoid, insulting, superior acting and just damned rude. Hated him.

Benny Goodman on Rhoda. Boring, weird and bland.

That's a start, anyway, lol.
