After a long, long, long, break Television VS is back with a all new edition.



NBC back in 82' was still in third place but show signs of life with new series Cheers,Family Ties,Knight Rider,Remington Steele,and the biggest hit of the year The A Team which didnt premiere until midseason. So it was time use the slogan "We're NBC, Just Watch Us Now".

NBC wins this battle without a doubt!

Although NBC was still in 3rd, they were beginning their blueprint stages of a comeback while simultaneously axing a ton of existing shows after the 1982-83 TV season.

ABC on the hand in Fall 1984 only had one real successful new hit show that Fall and that was Who's the Boss? Although Moonlighting would later debut in midseason and give it a minor, but still less helpful boost.

It's probably not allowed, but I'd vote for both of them. They just bring back lots of good memories for me.
I really liked the "Come on Along with ABC" promo that ran a long time ago too.

Wow, Remington Steele, Fridays at 10pm.

I remember watching it then.
Pretty sure the next year it moved to Tuesdays.
