Default Oakland County child killer

Found this case on another forum. I feel sick just typing this out... but victims were bathed, sexually assaulted, fed, and murdred in various ways. the bodies were put on the sides of roads often with the clothes freshly washed, dryed, and pressed. they dubbed the killer "The Babysitter".

Victims included: 2 boys and 2 girls. ages ranged 10-12.

The killer was believed to be Charles Busch. he was convicted of being a Pedophle. he was a suspect but was let go because he passed a lie detector test. he committed suicide after the death of the last victim. interestingly enough after his suicide the murders stopped.

Does anyone have any information on this case? what do yo guys think. was Busch the killer? or did the Killer (or killers) just move on.

There have been some previous discussions on this case.

I haven't followed the case closely and don't know anything about Busch, but it is indeed disturbing.

This was the big news story in Michigan in the late 70's, before I was born. All of the children were abducted and kidnapped within 15-20 miles of where I live. I've passed 2 of the sites countless times on my way to visit friends.

Since this wasn't a UM case, I doubt many are interested. But for my fellow Michiganders who might like to know more about it, here's an interesting link about Charles Busch. It sounds pretty convincing...

Durh... I guess it pays to use the Search function eh? thank you for the other links. they were interesting.

Dynoguy I couldn't imagine being a kid or a parent during the time period the murders took place. it must've been terrifying!!

The most disturbing crimes that took place in my hometown was a drug dealer murdering a Mother and her older daughter over some drug $. he shot them and then burned the bodies in their basement. crazy stuff.

Another case was when an honored Airforce Reserve Pilot from my hometown was shot and killed by his wife. she fled to Brazill and was eventually caught. very sad case. the wife was physically abusive to her husband. she also spent alot of $ and wired it to her accounts in Brazil. she had properties there.

When the husband confronted his wife about the $ issues she brandished Divorce papers. it boggles my mind when husbands/wives kill eachother instead of just getting a divorce. what a waste of life! the wife sure was a piece of work.

I just happened to come across this post on Truecrimediary.com about the OCCK. According to the post his name is actually Christopher Busch. I can't wait to learn more about this suspect.
