Default The Tracy Thurman movie

I just watched my tape of the Tracy Thurman movie and was reminded of just how horrifying the "attack" scene was. OMG I had tears in my eyes. I was like, some one tackle that guy!!

As a mom too I felt VERY bad for the little guy who played CJ. It was so intense and a child of that age can't "act" being frightened. He was truly scared. I know they were trying to portray just how awful it was for Tracy but I don't think it was right to traumatize that child they way they did. I'm sure he's fine at his age now but at the time it was very real to him. Anyone else agree with me?

I can see where you're coming from. *Maybe* the little boy was a little older than the character he portrayed and he *could* understand (I've heard they do that a lot). I hope so....

I'm sure the real CJ will always be traumatized for what happened to his
mother. I'm sure CJ is even more traumatized after the real Buck got out
of jail for good behavior and killed
the real Tracey Thurman. I just hope
CJ wasn't around when it happened.

Buck Thurman killed Tracey Thurman sometime during the 90's. He's back
in jail and this time for good.

Okay, this is what I know and what I've
been told. Lastnight after my husband and
I watched "The Tracey Thurman Story", my
husband told me this: "The one thing that
they don't tell you is that Buck killed
Tracey". At first I couldn't believe it
but he also told me that: "In the 90's
Buck was released for good behavior and
went after Tracey, he looked for her for
months, when he finally found her, he
killed her". Now, a few minutes ago, I
asked my husband where he got this info
from, apparently back in the 90's, my
husband was talking with a teacher and
a news reporter, that's where he got the
info from. From my experience, "most"
news reporters and teachers don't lie. I
hope this helps!

Whoa- I didn't realize that. There isn't much talk about Buck killing Tracey after he's been released. Why the f--- didn't they execute that man?

They didn't execute Buck, but he will be
jail for the rest of his life. I mean, he
was charged for attempted murder and he
was supposed to be in jail for 5 "or" 10 years, but because of good behavior, he got out. Then, when he got out, he finally got his revenge. Then he was put
back in jail and he was sentenced for life.

Gosh I'd love to know where this reporter and teacher are from and where they got this info. I just read an editorial online in the Hartford Courant from Connecticut about domestic violence. They mentioned the Tracy Thurman trial in regards to three cases of abuse and two women who died on New Years. They talked about Tracy's case in brief and the settlement she got but nothing about Buck being released and killing her.

I'm confused now as to what I read above and what I read here. I hope it is just a bad rumor and Tracy is ok. You'd think we would have heard about it on the news or something. It was a big story.

Ummm...I'm not sure about that information, I saw a fairly recent article with a picture of Tracey Thurman and she was speaking at some college or something...I don't think he killed her...lemme go back and find that article...

I'm not being mean, but if this is true,
the Hartford Courant wouldn't know if
Tracey Thurman was killed if she left the
state. Would you want to stay in the same state knowing what all happened to you? I'm not saying it did, but it could have
been on the news during the early 90's.
If the info I gave is incorrect, I'm sorry. I was told this info. Due to lack
of evidence I have, I wouldn't blame you all for not believing me, I'm just relaying the info I found out.

I just got a reply from the Hartford Courant which states she is alive and well. Even gave her new last name (interesting). They also said Buck is reportedly living in Western Mass.

They also mentioned she seems to be the victim of an urban legend. Apparently there are many rumors going around about Buck finally killing her.

I'm glad there is a happy ending to this!
