Drool Kirk Cameron is Nicer than his sister Candace

As I myself learned exclusively 30 minutes ago.

My meeting with Candace on Facebook at 5:00 ET, 30 minutes ago, started out very well--but once I pointed out to her that this Twitterer, http://twitter.com/shaqdaddy32 (real name: Kenny Andrews) insulted her via his Twitter page, calling her a skank, she completely denied it and deleted her personal Facebook page very quickly soon after that.

My point to you is this--since I was 18, 8 years ago, I had had a big-time crush on Candace, and today, at age 26, I am CRUSHED.

However, I refuse to let this get the best of me; instead, I will offer you folks this word of wisdom: if you're thinking of meeting your celeb crush on Facebook or any related site, DON'T. Just because you think a famous person is the nicest in the entire world doesn't always mean you're right.

On the other hand, I am personally glad I got what I've wanted the last 8 years--to meet and speak with Candace, even if only for a moment in time.

The same words of wisdom I offer earlier in this message also apply if you plan on meeting your favorite celebrity in person--DON'T.

If you're asking me, I believe Kirk is the better Cameron as a person.

Sure, a lot of people, like Howard Stern to name an example, misunderstand Kirk; in fact, in November 2009, barely a month after Kirk's real-life 40th birthday, Howard Stern launched an "I Hate Kirk Cameron" rant.

I am Facebook friends with Kirk, even though I haven't conversed with him, yet, based on what I've seen of his preaching teachings, as I refer to his television sermons he's done since 2004, I believe he is who he says he is.

In the year 2000, Kirk, then age 30, retired from acting and, except for coming out of retirement through "Fireproof," the 2nd "Growing Pains" reunion movie, and the 2 "Left Behind" sequels, Kirk remains retired from acting.

In the year 2000, Kirk embarked on a new career as a preacher--which he has done ever since.

When he's not delivering televised sermons, Kirk Cameron, now age 41, delivers sermons in Churches across the United States.

He and his wife, former model/actress Nancy Mueller (known professionally as Chelsea Noble), will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary next month. They reside with their 6 children between ages 8 and 15 in California.

If I had the opportunity to meet a celebrity I admired I wouldn't waste my time talking about strangers on the Internet hating them. It was irrelevant to your conversation. No doubt you made her uncomfortable and she opted to end the conversation. That doesn't make her a bad person.

I don't understand... what does Candace denying something that happened online have to do with her character or personality? I wouldn't have even mentioned that to her. I am dying to meet DHP and yes, I would be crushed if he doesn't turn out to be the incredibly nice person that I've constantly heard people talk about. But I am definitely not going to ask him any personal information or try to make him feel uncomfortable. Just sayin;'.

Yea I think the OP just frightened her. It doesn't make her a bad person. Just smart. You don't know who you're dealing with on the internet.

OP, with just 19 posts, you frankly have already demonstrated yourself as oddly clueless, strange, and utterly thoughtless. You should be happy just to have supposedly communited with Ms. Cameron-Burr herself. Maybe next time, if you're given the chance to talk with a celebrity, you'll be more thoughtful as to the type of information you discuss.
