Freddie's First Secretary - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I read an earlier post about Freddie's first secretary Diane Rappaport. Did anyone ever find out where she is today or what she is doing? I don't know how many people here saw the Movie about Johnny Cash called "Walk The Line". If you did see it, then you know that June Carter and her family did everything in their power to cure him of his drug addiction. My Mom and I have both said, it would have been nice if Freddie Prinze could have had someone who was like June Carter in his life. I think Freddie should have listened more to his first secretary Diane. Who knows, maybe she would have been the June Carter in his life and he wouldn't have died at such a young age. He would probably still be here today. This is just my opinion. If someone disagrees with me on this, please go easy on me. I'm not trying to cause trouble.

If Freddie were still here today, I can picture him on Dancing With The Stars doing the Argentine Tango. He was a good dancer and I'm sure a lot of people would have voted for him. He would have won. I can also picture Freddie doing dramatic roles.

I'm sure freddie was a great dancer, but if he was on DWTS that would mean that he was a D list celebrity. I think he might of had a career like Eddie Murphy. I could picture him in the movie Trading Places and doing the voice of Donkey in Shrek. But yes, i would of loved to see him do the tango.

Yeah, definitely movies and Dancing With The Stars. And the stuff George Lopez does.

He would have been one of the top comedians and and actors today. I'm sure he would have been asked to be in a lot of movies and other things. Now that I really think about it, I don't think he would have gone on Dancing With The Stars. A lot of the top celebrities turn it down. Even though I still can picture him doing the tango

I'm sure he would have been asked if he wanted to take over the tonight show. I saw that Amazon.com still sells copies of his Mother's book. I'd be interested in reading it.

Freddie on Dancing With The Stars?! Oh my!

It would be a VERY interesting season to watch with Freddie being there! With his ballet background, he would fit very well, but yeah, if he were here, he probably wouldn't have much time to do such a show. It's nice to fantasize though!

I think, and sometimes it's very hard to accept, but things happen for a reason. Freddie was a big bright star......had everything to live for.......and he was miserable. He loved everyone around but he didn't seem to know how to say No to a lot of things. It was too much too soon and if you read Maria's book, you will see that Freddie never really felt comfortable with all the fame. He liked it, but didn't quite know how to handle it. I think too, people tended to forget how old he was. He looked and acted much older than 19, 20, on through 22. They forgot he was as young and inexperienced as he was.

Anyway, thanks for bringing a bit new life to this place!

Let's all get ready to party on Wednesday!!!!

Freddie would have been 57 on Wednesday. Is that right?

It's sad what happened to Freddie. I wish things could have turned out different. I still think his mind would have been clearer if it wasn't for the drugs. I found out the episode "Ed Talks To God" was the last episode Freddie filmed. I can see in his eyes that he's not happy. When I watch that episode, I feel sorry for him and I wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and try to help him

. The majority of the time, I think about the great talent he had. I'm sure that's what Freddie would want us to remember. His talent.

I had a dream about him a few months ago. In the dream, it was 1976 and I was working backstage on The Tonight Show. Freddie was the guest host. Someone told me to tell him something (I can't remember what). Everytime I tried to approach him, something would get in my way. Then I woke up. I guess I had that dream because I viewed the clip on youtube of Freddie interviewing the Jackson 5 on The Tonight Show in 1976.

That's what happens to a lot of people when they find out Freddie's story. So you're not alone, Mc70. Freddie also seems to have a way of working himself into your dreams......if you go back through posts, you'll see what I mean!
