So we all love the old theme...but how about the music that was used during the actual segments? Does anyone know if this was in-house music or production music? And any chance of there being a way to find some of the music used (usually repeated throughout the seasons and even used multiple episodes/segments in row)?
Edit: Clearly I meant segment...not segement in the Title...if a Mod could fix...thanks! |

I remember looking up the composer's name recently. he had his own webpage. unfortunately no score from "UM". there was some spooky snippets though. as far as I know there is no way to listen to or purchase the original score.

Some years ago I was messing around with some midi files and found a few of the synths that were used for some of the segment music, as I didn't find them all though I didn't continue. I'm pretty sure from this experience though if you had the right tools you could re-create the music exactly as it was.
I'm almost certain they were made on an 8-track or 16-track (but I think 8) sequencer, probably an old 8 or 16 bit computer like a Commodore or Atari I would guess. |
