In case you didn't notice that was a sarcastic title. Everybody knows Nostradamus predicted nothing. He just wrote vague gibberish that means nothing. Really, try reading some of it without any "interpretations." It is like taking random sentences from the newspaper and putting them together.
Some people like to take these writings and say they predicted things. But this always happens AFTER something happens. And there is always something that doesn't fit, so you have to fudge it to make it fit. No one ever has actually predicted anything from Nostradamus's writngs and actually had it come true. Sometimes, they just say Nostradamus predicted it without even providing the relevant passage where his supposed prediction came from. As is happening now with the 2012 nonsense. Othertimes someone just makes up a quote and claims that Nostradamus wrote it. As what happened after 9/11. The internet is rife with stuff like this. Everythime something happens, such as an earthquake, new, fake "predictions" appear. So what is the point? My question is: Why did Unsolved Mysteries do a segment on Nostradamus supposedly "predicting" Y2K? And why on Earth did Lifetime rerun this segment years later after the whole "Y2K Bug" turned out to be a dud? |
