I have a couple of questions about the DVD releases of "Star Trek: Voyager," and these are about its packaging:
1. Why do the "Voyager" releases (6 of which I have so far) have paper cards attached to them that, on the front, read "The Complete _______ Season on DVD," and on the back have a picture of the cast at the time of each season, plus info on the number of outings (15 in #1, 25 in #5, 24 in #7, and 26 in the remainder), the number of discs (5 in #1, 7 in the others), and info on bonuses (which vary by season)? (The figures I quoted for episode count are as I recall seeing them on those cards or images of them; I may be incorrect.) 2. That small image at the left on the back side of each release that shows all the releases together: why is it presented such that the releases look taller and wider (maybe fatter) than they really are? Attached are pictures that I hope will illustrate these queries. |
