Craig Ferguson to Take Late Late Show Overseas - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Scotsman Craig Ferguson is heading back across the pond — but this time he's bringing his late night show with him!

On Monday night, Ferguson announced that the Late Late Show crew will pack their bags for Paris, France next week to tape a week's worth of shows, which will then be broadcast in the States this August. Earlier in the day, Ferguson tweeted that it was "Time to shake this s--- up a little. Big announcement on the show tonight."

While many late night hosts take their show on the road in American cities — Conan O'Brien will travel to New York and Chicago in the next 2 years — this marks the first time a late night show has filmed an entire week in France. But Late Late Show's travel budget is expected to be significantly lower than his counterparts considering Ferguson does not use a house band — just a handful of puppets and a robot sidekick.

...what can Craig do in Paris that he hasn't already accomplished at CBS Television City in Hollywood?

He will be taking Secretariat, Geoff Petersen, Kristen Bell and some other surprises to Paris, and apparently they are going to be doing a lot of the show "on the street"

- also don't forget that there is that french late night talk show that is a complete rip-off of Craig's show (even with a scene-by-scene replication of the opening!), where he invited the host to be on the show and made friends with him, so I expect something to happen with that as well.

What have you guys thought of the Paris episodes? They have been ok, I guess. They are all over the place with the show. They go from one place to another to another. Its just a little bit confusing, although I can look at Kristen Bell anyday of the week!! WOOHOO!!!
