I went on the new Unsolved Mysteries website this morning, and at the top of the homepage it says:
Now accepting new story submissions at UMnewstories@gmail.com This is great!!! Now they may be making new episodes with these new cases!

I must admit I am shocked to see this, though of course well pleased! I wonder why it took them so long to do this?

Great news, maybe a change in format from the rock theme back to the darker theme too?

Although it looks promising, I'm going to withhold any excitement on the matter until it is officially announced (if the show is actually resuming production).

This is great news! I too don't want to get my hopes up because there's always the possibility that they'll just put the new stories on their website and not actually film a segment. And I also hope we get a new host and format, if the show is actually produced again.

Maybe now that the show is back on Lifetime, it is getting better ratings than it got on Spike. I've always hoped they would film new episodes, so this is very encouraging.

I can think of several great story ideas (and updates, of course). Do you guys want to try to compile some ideas here, then take a vote on which ones we would most like to see aired? We could all then flood C-M with the same requests, thereby making them take notice of the popularity of certain cases.

I hope this pans out!!!! And they go back to the old music, I can live with Farnia narrating as long as they get new segments and back to old music! I hope this really does work out!!!

With no Robert Stack I'd prefer Morgan Freeman, but Farina is ok. |

I'm a sucker for the show. I'll watch no matter how bad they butcher it.
