Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg

Born in Boston, MA and standing 5'9"

Mark Wahlberg is a Former Rapper and currently an Actor and Producer

He is also the younger brother of Singer/Actor Donnie Wahlberg of the Famed All Boy Band New Kids on the Block

as an actor, he has appeared in many films such as Renaissance Man, Boogie Nights, Three Kings, The Perfect Storm, The Italian Job, I Heart Huckabees, Four Brothers, The Departed, Invincible, Shooter and The Fighter

and 10 years ago, he has starred in 2 Films in 2001 such as the remake of Planet of the Apes which was Directed by Tim Burton best known as the Director of such films as Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice and the 1989 version of Batman and during that same year, he played the title role to the Warner Bros. Film Rock Star Co-Starring Everyone's Favorite Friend-Jennifer Aniston

George Clooney who co-starred with Wahlberg in the films Three Kings and The Perfect Storm served as Executive Producer of the film

Wahlberg was also an Executive Producer himself producing 4 Cable TV Series for HBO such as Entourage, In Treatment, Boardwalk Empire and How To Make It In America

and next year, he will be starring in his latest film called Contraband

But before he was an actor, he was also a rapper teaming up his group called The Funky Bunch

The Funky Bunch consisted of the following:

Scott Ross (alias Scottie Gee), Hector Barros (alias Hector the Booty Inspector), Terry Yancey (alias DJ-T) and Anthony Thomas (alias Ashey Ace)

He released 2 Albums:

His 1st one was called Music for the People which became his only Platinum Album and his only #1 LP on the Top Heatseekers Chart and his 2nd one was called You Gotta Believe

Wahlberg was 20 years old @ the time he released his 1st Album and on the Pop Chart, he's scored 4 Top 100 Hits on the Pop Chart which includes 2 Top 10 Hits Back to Back (both in which were Gold Singles) and he was also the 2nd Rapper to have a #1 hit on the Pop Chart here in America

20 years ago, he scored his only #1 Pop Hit called "Good Vibrations" Featuring the late Loleatta Holloway

The song was written by Amir Shakir better known as "MC SPICE" who is a Good Friend of both Mark and Donnie and the late Dan Hartman

The song also earned Mark 2 MTV Video Music Award nominations for Best Dance Video and Best Rap Video

Mark also earned an American Music Award nomination in 1992 for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop New Artist

Marky Mark also released another single that was also written by "MC SPICE" entitled "Wildside" his 2nd consecutive Top 10 Hit on the Pop Chart here in America which peaked @ #10 and it was his only Top 10 Hit on the Rap Chart here in America and his 3rd consecutive Top 100 Pop Hit from his 1st Album was entitled "I Need Money" which peaked @ #61 and he also scored his last Top 100 Hit on the Pop Chart with the title cut to his 2nd Album entitled "You Gotta Believe" which peaked @ #49 and it also earned Mark a Grammy Award Nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance in 1993

Today, Mark Wahlberg has put his days as Marky Mark behind him and today, he continues to act and produce

In 2009, he got married to Fashion Model Rhea Durham and together, they have 4 Children
