Yes, she met them during the Bunker's trip to CA in the 1978-1979 season (Edith's last, and the last of AITF).

I don't believe it was ever mentioned, however I do know that Stephanie was related to Edith's side of the family and I believe that Maude was Edith cousin so I think that would make Stephanie a second or third cousin to Maude.
