Wink Martindale also hosted the revival version of "Can You Top This?", a comedy/improv show that aired in syndication during 1970-71. If I recall, the original version got it's start on the radio and I believe a version also aired on TV around 1950.
In the 1970 version, Morey Amsterdam, Dick Gautier, and Richard Dawson were among the comedians who appeared. I used to watch this show, thought it was pretty funny but it didn't last long and it's time on the air was rather brief. |
