Default Favorite Bobby Wheeler Episode/Moment?

There are several that come to mind, but for me, the one episode that stands out more than any other, is "High School Reunion" where Bobby goes to Louie's High School Reunion and pretends to be Louie.

Bobby and Louie at the same time:

You can't be me.

It won't work.

What's your favorite Bobby Wheeler episode/moment?

At a moment like this, I look back fondly on Bobby's last scene. He's in the garage, saying his goodbyes to the other cabbies and Louie. He and Alex have their farewell moment and Bobby starts to leave the garage. He stops, looks in the mirror of a cab and checks out his hair. With a smile on his face he looks at Alex and then walks out of the Sunshine Cab Company, hopefully off to bigger and better things.

Bobby dancing through the garage while being high on Latka's cookies was hysterical!

Those are great scenes.

I don't know that the stuff that comes to my mind is any better, but they're different, anyway. I remember one episode where Bobby and Elaine are rooming together and Alex, thinking that they may 'turn to each other' as a result of bad relationships, and regret it later, actually breaks into Bobby's home with a baseball bat, only to find them both expressing their friendship for each other, having resolved the tension by themselves. The look on Alex's face is priceless (why did Hirsh never get another successful series??).

I also remember one where Bobby had decided to give up on his dream of acting if he didn't get something going by age 30. Really nice acting from Conaway in this episode.

"What Price Bobby" from S2 was also a fun episode, with great chemistry between Jeff and guest star Susan Sullivan (Another World, It's a Living, Falcon Crest, Dharma & Greg, etc.). The scene involving dignity and shoes is hilarious. That's also the episode where Judd Hirsch is absent (due to his filming Ordinary People - though he did film the tag scene).

That was when he was dancing like a ballerina, right? Mainly I remember Tony Danza coming in, looking completely normal, before lifting up the vending machine and carrying it off.

Now that I think about it, another favorite Bobby Wheeler moment came from his other last episode. By that I mean, the last episode in which he was a cast member (his real last episode was the following season and he was a guest star).

It's where Bobby was telling about his other job (the one he took when Sunshine Cab Company was out of business). He played the Easter Bunny at a children's party but when he realizes who the mother of the birthday kid is, he decides to put on a serious play for her. "Now kids, pretend like the Easter Bunny is paralyzed from the neck down..." LOL
