A 'Taxi' Reunion Takes Place At The Bedside Of Jeff Conaway - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Former 'Grease' star Jeff Conaway, who played T-Bird member Kenickie in the hit flick, is struggling to hold onto life today after possibly aspirating a prescription pill into his lungs, causing him to become ill with pneumonia. His two close friends and former 'Taxi' co-stars Tony Danza and Marilu Henner are holding a bedside vigil for their dear friend, encouraging him to fight for life as he lays in the hospital bed, unable to respond after doctors induced him into a coma.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Marilu and Tony have been trying desperately to encourage their friend to pull through the pneumonia and coma, as doctors are saying Conaway may not live beyond a few more days. A source close to the ill star tells Radar: "Marilu has been talking to Jeff, and he seemed to be trying to respond to her over the weekend, even though he has been in a medically-induced coma."

"Jeff would turn his head towards Marilu when she was talking to him. It was truly a touching moment," added the source.

That's very cool that Marilu and Tony are staying by Jeff's bedside. I hope it makes a difference.

I had a feeling that Marilu and Tony would be the most likely to rally at Jeff's side. Hopefully their visit boosted Jeff's morale on some deeper level.

I bet they're glad they made that visit - seeing as how Jeff has now been taken off life support.
