I have grown to really love American Dad. That wasn't always the case in the early seasons. I noticed they featured Roger more prominently in the later seasons. Is this a coincidence or a revelation?

Roger's the "Stewie" of AD...the breakout character that is given all the good lines (even though he's also like Stewie in that he's arguably the most morally reprehensible of the show).
I agree though, that his emergence into the spotlight really helped the show. I didn't like the first season at all but the show has grown on me. I think they hired different writers in the second year, too, didn't they? As it stand, AD is generally more creative than FG now (though that's probably because they aren't as old as FG...and haven't used up as many ideas yet). |

I think it sort of hurt the show, along with giving Principal Lewis too much screen time. I'm in the minority of people who like the classic episodes pre-Rapture's Delight.
