What if UM had a celebrity look alike contest? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi everyone!
I had this fun idea and I thought to post it here. I am actually quite curious to see where this thread will go. I always tried to imagine what it would be like if Unsolved Mysteries was to ever have a celebrity look alike show. You know, where UM actors or interviewees look like celebrities. Who would be some top contestants?

Here are some of my top picks. I'd be curious to hear other people's ideas! (Forgive me if I forgot the names of some cases!)

The actress who played Tammy Leppert--Reese Witherspoon

The Alaskan hitchiker who murdered the young doctor--Jon Lovitz

Dennis Farina--an Oompa Loompa (forgive me, but it's a BIT too obvious that he spends all his time at a tanning salon...sometimes I swear I can even see the circles left from the tanning goggles!)

The actor who played Nelson DeCloud--Albert Finney (he played Daddy Warbucks in Annie, and Erin Brockovich's boss in Erin Brockovich)

The actress who played the Moss Beach Lady in Blue--Madonna

Mike Riemer--Barry Gibb?

The actress who played Gretchen Wilson? (The attorney who was stabbed to death by a carjacker)--Jean Stapleton (AKA Edith Bunker)

The actress who played Resurrection Mary--Keri Russell

The next "contestants" are is not related to celebrities, but I thought they deserved honorable mentions as well...They are people on UM who I swaer look like people I know (don't know if you guys have ever had that experience?)

The actress who played Monica Rizzo--my high school chemistry teacher

The actress who played Marlene Santana's kidnapper--one of my aunts

And (my personal favorite, the WEIRDEST one of all!!!) Julius Roberson--my ever loving husband--the younger mugshot of him from the 60's. Very weird.

I've always thought that Jeffrey MacDonald (the older version at least) bears quite a striking resemblance to character actor Bob Gunton, who's probably best known for playing the warden in "The Shawshank Redemption".

I also thought Gordon Page looked quite a bit like actor/screenwriter Mike White ("School of Rock", "Orange County", "Chuck & Buck"):

I've also got a friend who bears a resemblance to Clark Rockefeller, something I wouldn't wish on anyone

While watching the movie, A Time to Kill, I thought an actress playing one of the jurors looked a lot like Monika Rizzo. Even the eye glasses were similar. I tried finding the actress's name on imdb, but didn't have any luck.

I'm pretty sure the guy in the Edward Harold Bell looks a WHOLE LOT like Matthew McConahuey.
