Yeah it was cancelled. After CBS tried to cash in on the fact ABC was letting go the last of their good TGIF shows (StepByStep and Family Matters). They tried to make their own version called the "Friday Night Block Party" with those two shows was a show called "Kids Say the Darndest Things" and "Gregory Hines". The entire thing ended up flopping with low ratings on all the shows, the end result was all but "Kids say..." being cancelled. The Block Party line-up was forgotten immediately after. Kids say lasted another season, but at least Bill Cosby got another chance at his own show after that one got cancelled, also on CBS called "Cosby". Then that one got cancelled a season after it was on too.

Actually, Meego was apart of the orginal Block Party Lineup, not Kids Say.
