anybody ever hated the way the whole show treated Carol?

If you ask me, the fat jokes seemed out of whack and unnecessary, Tracey Gold was never (and still isn't) fat!

I'm not too keen on how Carol tends to be neglected when she has a problem either. Especially since Carol's my favourite character!

Me 2! I remember one episode where Ben makes fun of Carol drooling...and Jason condones it! Mike got all the attention because Carol was the good one...I hate that the good one always gets shafted. I also hated the episode where Mike runs away and maggie dismisses Carols gripes...ugh!

the fat jokes were just mean-spirited and went too far, I know that kids are mean and brothers and sisters are often ruthless picking on each other, but the show didn't need to set such a bad example with it - just look at the effect it had on Tracy in real life.

Oh ya...I mean I dont think fat jokes are okay by any means...and I would have been more okay with them (due to the fact it is realistic)...but I feel it is 2 onesided. The show was way too cruel in its treatment of Carol...by all of her family. The other family members constantly harped on her...despite the fact she was a straight A student and mostly responsible...I know she had her issues...like the fact she was a bit of a drama queen...but I hated how even her parents would go against her..so I think her whining was okay lol. I would like it if the show had shown more compassion...true siblings fight...but they also hang out and stick up for one another... it would be nice to have an episode where Mike and Ben..and even Chrissy showed a little bit more good will towards her
