I've noticed that in the show's theme song, the first season's closing lyric ends with "You might just make it after all", while in subsequent seasons, the closing lyric is "You're gonna make it after all." In my opinion, this lyrical change didn't just represent the Mary Richards character, but the program as a whole. Does anyone agree?

You make a valid point glickmam. As a freshman series they were hoping it would be a hit. From season two onward it was quickly becoming the classic that we all love and we knew they were "gonna make it after all"!!!
