There wouldn’t seem to be many milestones left for “The Simpsons” to achieve after 22 seasons, but we think we saw a first for the show on Sunday night: Bart Simpson apologizing for a mistake. Though Bart’s chalkboard gag in the opening credits of the show is usually reserved for a throwaway one-liner or a joke about current events, “The Simpsons” used the space to make good with the comedian Kristen Schaal, whose name had been misspelled in the closing credits of last week’s episode. (There are many worthy reasons for “The Simpsons” to stay on good terms with Ms. Schaal, including the fact that it’s the right thing to do and, as a voice performer on the Fox animated series “Bob’s Burgers,” she’s a next-door neighbor of the show.)

I do agree that "The Simpsons" ARE losing steam...I dunno if they'll be renewed for another 3 years.
